CAN YOU EXPORT SOUNDS FROM ReCycle TO THE 2000XL?

Yea - that's the question. When exporting sounds from recycle, does the 2000XL read the sound files? Anyone have any experience in this? I'm not trying to use reason as a sequencer - I like hitting pads and want to maintain the 2000 swing. Just trying to see if Recycle is worth it because chopping on there is pretty nice...anyone? Opinions?

I think so... I don't use software myself, but I remember seeing a tutorial on TUTOR's site about chopping with Recycle, so yeah, it should work.

You can make recycle chop your loops in .wavs, so you can load it into you baby

I don't use ReCycle either but I know it chops your loop into slices around the waveform of the individual beats. Does it also create a midi file for them the way Phatmatik does?

I'm thinking if you chop up a fairly loose loop with ReCycle you could put the individual samples into the MPC but you might not get the feel of the original loop unless you had a midi file to use as a template.

the easiest way is to use mpc editor, export the loop from recycle as an 'akp'. then open it in mpc editor to make a pgm. save it to zip, with the original midi file form recycle.
