Programs loading when the 2kxl turns on

Whats up yall Im bout to buy a mpc 2000xl and I was wondering if I can save my programs in the memory of the xl,so that everytime I turn it on,it will load it manually is it possible school the new cat thanks

Well it don't come from the factory like that... I'm pretty sure you can buy a Flash ROM and install it... It works like a Hard Drive... Then you could do what you're talkin about... But a Flash ROM is real pricey... I know where your comin from cause I thought that was gonna be an issue when I bought my MPC, but it's really a minor one... It takes 30 seconds to load a program... Theres really no need for that Flash ROM...

you can have programs and seq's saved in the root directory of your disks. and will load up, on boot up

save em all into seperate folders, for each songs seqs and sounds. this way they wont. i like it better this way. no autoload.
