Choice: CD Rom drive or 8 output expander?

I'm going to cop either a CD-Rom drive or the 8 output expander in a few weeks.

Which one would you deem more esential? I already have an external ZIP drive and my memory is maxed out to 32mb.

If you have a recording setup that will let you use all 8 outputs at the same time then go with the output board.If your recording setup will not allow you to use all 8 outputs get the output board anyway.The CD-Rom deal is cool if you use sample CD's that contain .wav files other than that it's useless as the MPC will not let you save anythig to CD.

Go with the 8 outs.
