pretty much you can fit 70 3.5/ 1.44 mb floppies on one 100mB zip. My mpc is juiced with a 250zip and a jaz daisy chain! trust me its worth it. Imagine a 750 zip scsi! OMgosh!
less wear on the drive, less wear on the inserts and disc reader, less disks to have to stack-it will get messy if you do lots of chops and editing. Having to load 13 disks just to get 1 tune down, and if you make any chages you have to put them in 1 by 1 so the machine can update. I don't want to fight with the machine! I just want to bang on it!
I keep the boot disc in the 3.5 at all times-so when the machine comes up it ges started, and my current project sits in the zip drive. most efficent. If you lose 1 disc out of a group-hey you're in trouble. And better get used to buying them by the 100 pack-and that gets old quick.
