Hello all,

i got a Mpc 2000 3 days ago,
im trying to record a loop in a sequence loading from
Scsi Zip drive(.wav), but i cant play the loops perfectly.
Allways sounds like there is a blank space in the beging,
i had edited in Trim mode, cutted it all, but still sounds like
not perfect and a bit out of tempo.

thanks in addavance,
Gustavo

wax ma balls, took me a while to get it. do a search for looping. you have to leave an over hang or dead air.

Various possibilities here:

I'm guessing you have some long samples that you want to run together.(?!?)

You say there is a blank space at the beginning. It could be you just need to quantize things, so they start together on the very first beat.....

It could be you need to set your tempo to the length of the sample. If there is a bit of space after the sample your tempo is too slow. If the repeat of the sample comes on a bit early your tempo is too fast.

Alternatively, adjust the pitch of your samples to fit your tempo.
