Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hey all, i just bought the 2000xl with a 250 mb internal zip drive. What exactly do i need to buy to transfer sounds from my PC to the MPC and vice versa. An external USB zip? And/or an external SCSI Zip? Much appreciated.

which ever... you need a zip for your pc and one for you mpc no matter which way you look at it.

i personally would put the internal zip in the mpc so if you ever have to travel with it, you'll only need the mpc and some cables audio.. of course you need to make a modification to the power cable connected to the floppy inside the mpc.. but once it's done you'll be laughing.

the external would be nice for the pc so you can have it on the desktop while you work and use it in other pcs when you travel.... but that's just me.

I think -{n8}- read your first line as...you have just bought a 2000xl & also bought an internal zip drive but it isn't fitted in the MPC yet..

Anyway, you've got the 2000xl with the zip already fitted internally. You just need the USB zip drive for the pc & then you swap discs between the two.
