I think it can be done with any sample, I used a hi hat
1)enable sample loop, set a very short loop length like 30 to 50
2)assign loop sample to a pad,
3)tune the pad up pretty high somewhere like 150ish
4)set velocity--->level: 0,
5)set velocity -->tuning: -100
you'd expect this to sound like a simple waveform with control over pitch, nothing special, but in actuality there is an unexpected modulation to the sound. The best part is it takes up almost no memory, floppy disk friendly.
