2000xl Card Reader Failure

Hey whats up. My mpcs card reader hasnt been working for a while and i wanna get it back up. It is mpc 2000xl, OS 1.14, the card reader was installed when i bought it, it is the blue mpc. It use to work but after 5 years or so it no longer works. It takes SD cards and CF cards, I tried 10 different cards on it both SD and CF and none worked. Even though they are only 1 GB cards. I know that the cards work on my PC. I am pretty sure it is the card reader. I still have to take it apart and try seeing if i can get it working.

If i still cant get my reader working what is my best option for being able to load samples on my mpc again?

well maybe you should open it up and make sure no cables wiggled loose... and if that doesn't fix it, maybe you need a new card reader.
