So i made a song out of 5 or so sequences

I converted the song into a sequence

with a master tempo of 94

I then applied 57% swing to track 2 which is my drum track

for some reason when I push play it gets to where the 2nd sequence would be and the tempo change turns on and changes it to 120!!

i have no idea why it does this

i turn it off and it turns back on

its nuts

any ideas?

Unless you found a bug, the only thing I can think of is the fact that individual sequences can have tempo % changes even if you're using a master tempo source.

If that's the case you'd spot it immediately if you go to your sequence, highlight the tempo and open window to see all tempo changes.

Are you setting it in song mode, before converting it to a sequence, to use a master tempo setting (MAS), and to ignore tempo changes in the sequences?...

TEMPO:
This sets the sequence to either be played in the tempo it was recorded in or the Master tempo.

Move the cursor to the TEMPO: field and set the tempo source by rotating the DATA wheel.

SEQ The song will be played at the tempo specified in the sequence. In this case it is not necessary to change the tempo in the : field.
MAS All the sequences in the song will be played at the Master tempo specified in the : field.

To open the Tempo Change window, select the TEMPO: or : field and press the OPEN WINDOW key.

Tempo change
Ignore tempo change events in sequence: YES

Specify whether the tempo change recorded within the sequence should be ignored. If YES is selected, the tempo change in the sequence will be ignored. If NO is selected, the tempo change in the sequence becomes valid and the tempo of the song will change according to the data.
