Disk drive with built-in card reader

Has somebody tried to put something like this into his MPC2000XL?

AFAIK the 2000xl doesn't have an internal USB port :wink:

I also don't think that the diskdrive alone would work in the 2000(xl)

Oh I see, I was assuming that you can either connect it via internal usb OR via the IDE cable

The floppy drive connects via a 34pin floppy ribbon cable, the card reader connects via USB, there is no IDE on the drive.

Yeah I know I was just referring the floppy "IDE-style" as IDE

Not the internal card reader the OP is asking about here though, as it is USB.
