Akai IB-S508P 8 Output Expansion...Compatible With MPC?

I did a search through the forum for this and nothing came up.

Is the IB-S508P board compatible with the MPC2000XL? I happened to find one for significantly cheaper than the IB-M208P.

If someone could let me know, or at least point me to an existing thread, it would be appreciated.

It is not compatible.

The 8-output board inside the S3000XL and S2000 (optional add-on; not installed in mant units) is compatible with the MPC 2000 and MPC 2000XL. The ribbon cable will have to be lengthened to fit to get it to work inside your MPC.
