Pad Mute Assign - Problem - Not Working - Help?

EDIT: Nevermind I'm a dumbass.


I haven't broke out my MPC in a while but i'm pretty sure I'm doing this correct

I searched youtube and google with no luck.

The pads won't mute if I hit the one I assigned to get muted. Actually it seems like some will but then don't after hitting other pads - weird.
