gut a problem to sync my xl with reaper...

i can see a midi signal gos in my xl midi monitor wen i press start in reaper.

bud the mp wont start.

In the MPC MIDI/SYNC screen, are you setting the Sync In Mode: to MIDI TIME CODE, and setting the Frame rate: to be the same as the MTC output frame rate setting in Reaper?

Maybe check the MPC sequence/song start time, and see how that compares to the Reaper MTC output start time, if you can. On the MPC, it is accessed from the Time Display window, by moving the cursor to the Now: field and pressing Open Window.

You say it works fine with an MPC2000 Classic? Is that set to the same MTC settings as the XL?

Don't know, as long as Reaper is set to output MIDI clock to the MIDI output port that the MPC is connected to, and the MPC is set for MIDI clock input, it should work, but I don't know Reaper at all.

for awry one how gut the same problem with reaper ... change the settings from the midi OUT device to enable + clock (right klick on the midi out device)
