Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Is there a way to say, take a 4 bar loop, add 4 more blank bars and then copy and paste your 4 bar tracks into the new blank bars? I know I can copy and paste into another sequence but it would be helpful if I could just double the length of my existing sequence and then paste in my recorded tracks. I've been searching for a while now and I still haven't been able to find the answer. Thanks for any help!

in the edit menu.. in the bars screen... you can go and choose "from bar 3 to bar 5" or what ever to be copied into another sequence and you can choose "after bar 2" .... those figures are examples... you would choose what is appropriate.

so from main screen.. it something like F2.. or some shit like that.. anyhow there is a bars tab that you gotta push F2 again or something. look around for a minute and you wont miss it.

I suggest saving the project first and experimenting first so you get what is actually happening with the result first... so you can re-load if you **** it up.

Sweet works perfect. I'm still getting used to the OS but it's becoming more intuitive with help like this. Thanks a ton!

or you can go to song mode and put the sequence you want to copy in and then to the right adjust the number of times you want to copy the sequence and then push convert and you will have a new seq
