CF Reader installation problem

Hello,

I have a problem, I recently bought a MPC 2000XL and I want to change the zip reader by a CF reader. So i Bought this:

I already have the v1.2 and the previous was the 1.14c.
I tried to format my SD to FAT16/FAT32 but it don't work.

If someone know the issues. please I don't know what to do.

It could be the card you are usin.

i would just buy a cf card, this is the one i use with no problems.

There are a few things it might be.

The 40-pin cable (ATA 66/100/133) you purchased has 80 wires. I had issues getting this kind to work with my MPC 2000XL so I ended up replacing it with a 40-pin (ATA 33) 40-wire cable. The pinouts for the two cables are the same, but for whatever reason I could not get the 80 wire on to work.

Many people have had issues using Transcend CF cards with the MPC 2000XL so I would expect the same from a Transcend SD card. Sandisk cards seem to have the most success reported here.
