SAMPLING HELP!!!

I know the normal way to sample is by connecting the turntable to the mpc but is it possible to download the samples to a Zip disk or a cf card and sample it in the mpc instead of paying money for a turntable and vinyl records.

format yer card as fat16 (just regular fat), and dont name anything longer than 8 characters.

just want to pop in and suggest that using vinyl whenever possible will give you a much wider spectrum of frequency, especially important for the lows.

It always depends on the source you want to compare to vinyl.

Vinyl has, compared to a CD for example, a reduced frequency- spectrum This is caused by the hardware specs and the record manufacturing process. A stylus would skip with extreme bass setting and the usual cutting stylus just can't cut frequencies up to 20kHz.
