MPC2000xl Axiom 49 MIDI connection

Hi everyone. I would like to know if it is possible to link these two together. I am trying to play a sound i have loaded onto a pad of the MPC, across the keys of the axiom. thanks in advance

yes.
create an autochromatic program from the sample you want to spread out.
it will only work across 4 octaves.
