Yes, I'm sure you can. I haven't used GarageBand but I know it is based on Logic & Soundtrack. Your M-Audio unit is designed for this task. You need to check the GarageBand help menu or manual, there are no issues here for settings on the MPC if you just want to record it, then work with that audio file on the computer....just connect its output to the Audiophile's input.
If you want to sync the MPC & GarageBand via midi you'll need to look into the MIDI/SYNC menu on the MPC....& the same subject for GarageBand.
