Mpc 2000XL Memory Card SD

Hi, I've just buy and Mpc 2000XL.
Who sold it to me, sent to me 2 512Mg Sd Card and they work fine.
Today I tried to use mine Sd card, 16Gb and it doesn't read it.
Probably mine is too much for my Mpc, but, could you tell me which features an Sd card must have to be read by an mpc?

Have you tried formatting the 16GB SD card in the MPC?

Just do it, and now it turned to a 1gb card.
ok, so, now I know that I have to buy some 1gb sd card!
