If your question is this: "Is it possible to apply swing to just one pad within a single track?" Then the answer is YES.

go to MAIN SCREEN,
Highlight Timing: & hit OPEN WINDOW,
you get the Timing correct screen.

there you have some parameters about what you want to do, swing is on 1/8 and 1/16, but the most important one I think for your question is the "Notes:" parameter. There you can select ALL notes or any individual note if you just hit the pad you want. Do that and all the edits will only apply to the pad you chose.

What's even better is you can actually specify a limited range of notes when you temporarily designate the track as "MIDI" instead of "Drum". for example, if you have a few different hi hats placed on notes 45- 49 then as long as it is a MIDI track, you can actually select notes 45-49, and edit the hi hats together leaving all other notes unchanged. Just switch the track back to "Drum" to hear what you did.

All that make sense?

Thanks for the reply yes that kind of makes sense im using a midi keyboard and reason im only using my pads for vinyl samples i have some drum samples mapped to the keyboard on a midi track. When i load some samples to the mpc pads on a drum track and press a pad i can set swing to that pad but when using a midi track with my drum samples on it wont let me press like that so what u were saying is i need to map it in the notes section in the timing window.
I will try this and try to get used to the keyboard note mapping because ive never really played with all that before but like the other poster said its the track you set the swing to so i will just set it to the midi track i just wanted to swing individual notes on that track thanks fam
