SKYPE mentoring??

I am looking for a mentor to help me over skype.

Would any of you be interested in doing this? Or maybe we could all start a network of skype users that can all help each other out with tips or ideas? I know I am victim of holing myself up in my room for hours and never having other peoples insights or ideas to help me. Plus finding people that produce music with older equipment rather than software is a bit hard to come by in many areas so maybe this could help.

Anyways, I work with an MPC 2000 classic, Audio Technica PL-120 I also have an SP-505 I use for filtering.

I work my **** ass off and this is my passion, I really love doing this.
I am a work horse, and I log all of the hours I put into my craft, and I am very dedicated. I have already put in over 90 hours just in the month of January which is really good for me since I go to school full time and everything else. I just need a little push and someone to show me little intricacies that will take my music to the next level.

man, this sounds dope, but my mp of choice is the 500,…. i have a 1000 and a 2000xl, but i prefer the 500

Okay I will definitely check that out and see what he has to say.

I know a lot of people on here have so much that I can learn from and I feel skype would be a great medium for that.

Ya I feel you. I wanna get a 1000 once I master the 2k Classic. I kinda want a 60 too but id get the 60 so I could pretend to be MF DOOM in 1999 lol.

But ya I feel skype could be a great medium to learn from others

Awesome! And ya its like a messager. You can also video chat on them. So for example i could show you through video a specific way that I use step edit in order to create subtleties with the high hats or whatever.
