8outputs board internal cable

Hey guys

I'm after a 8output board for my MPC2000xl, so I found one, but the internal cable, which connect the 8output board to the MPC is small, because was using in the S3000xl or S2000 samplers. I don't know the NAME of this internal cable, which connect the 8outputs board to the MPC2000XL. So I need to buy this cable, right? Is it easy to find? If someone can help me will be great. thanks

Hey brother!

It's super easy. All you need to do is take an old floppy flat cable from a computer and cut the unwanted end.
I honestly did it about 10 times for mines and friends' and it worked every single time

Just be carefull about 3 things :

1 - You have to remove the black plastic thing from the board very carefully to be able to remove the short cable.

2 - Make sure the red line (or colored line) from the long cable is on the same side as the original short one when you install it.

3 - When you cut the long cable, make sure you remove the little twisted part that the floppy cable often has. It's also often near one of the ends. I usually cut that end off AFTER the little twist part. What will remain is a long flat cable ready to install.
