Boot eprom chip

Hi MPC Heads,
Need some help with a decision i faced with.,

Have just bought a MPC2Kxl a couple of weeks ago, with a floppy drive. in perfect working condition.

I went straight ahead and ordered a Multi Card Reader Flash Drive Kit from mpcstuff.
When it arrived, i jumped straight in and update the OS
from something really early to 1.20.
It went throughout its process of updating and asked me to press any button!
then it went to "loadingMPC2000xl and froze for hours.
I turned it off and on again!

Now it asks me to "inset MPC2000xl disk" (common problem i read!)
Ive tried a fresh formatted floppy with a fresh OS on it, both 1.14 and 1.20
but it will not boot from the floppy

Im pretty shore my Flash rom is corrupt from the update!
and now i need a boot eprom chip from vstservice.

witch one do i need??? is there a difference between; Boot Eprom and Operation Rom

Akai MPC-2000XL Boot Eprom Ver 1.14 software upgrade
OR
Akai MPC-2000XL Operation Rom Eprom Ver 1.20 upgrade

Hey guys, I've actually been having a very similar problem. I ordered my EPROM, but truth be told I'm not sure how to install it... any links or directions that would be useful would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks.

I've heard of some people resolving this issue by booting with an even earlier OS such as OS 1.2

No, I don't have OS 1.2. I'm sure someone else here can post it or find it on google.

v 1.2 is actually the latest OS.
I have all the versions going back to v 1.10 if anybody really needs them.
