Painting Your MPC Yourself?

Has anyone painted their MPC themselves?

If so, what kind of paint did you use?

These are Pics of my work. This was after I painted. I have to take new pics of my Mp now all the buttons are black and I broke down and brought the black pads as well

When you go this far to individualise it don't you want to go one step further & have a blue screen or something? Hand carved wooden buttons, like the wooden mod wheel on Nord synths?

Is that a hammered metal finish on yours Phatz, or is it just a graininess in the jpegs?

did you just paint your pads black or did you get em from akai?

i think he got em from akai he said he had spoken to them a while back... phatz put up them new pics im contemplating on doing the same i just dont wanna fuk it up...

yeah i gotta see the black buttons and pads.




the paint i used is a 3 can color change system i copped at wal mart. The lettering i got from a magazine (just stickers). but i need those black pads next

These pics were taken with a bullsh!t camera......My Mp is the same color as Dstructionz, Boogieman and Binger. We were so hype when we were doing it then.......I have to get a new Digital cam so that the detail can be seen. I brought the pads from akai and I painted the buttons black and the knobs.........
