2000xl obscure problem

This is something im completely lost for direction on, every now and again (15%~ of the time) when i hit a pad to play a sample it will play back and sound duller almost as if the lowpass filter was set to 90, this will continue until the sample has stopped or been hit again (for loops it will continue until i take my finger off). This doesnt record as midi information however and so will vary as i play my recorded sequences back.
If anyone has an idea of the ballfield this issue may lie in itd be much appreciated, does it sound like a motherboard prob? electrical interference? Thanks.

On the particular .APS save ive managed to consistently recreate the issue with, it is only affecting one sound (irrelevant of which pad its assigned to or what params [i assigned to multiple pads simultaneously to test]) and is also always 8 hits apart (with tc/timing off)

edit: able to recreate issue on multiple .APS saves some with multiple sounds affected, all still happens exactly 8 presses of the particular pad apart

re-edit: one of my saves just went from having a few sounds affected to all of them affected when it was loaded for a second time, the original still has just the one affected however, still 8 presses apart...


None of this happens in the trim screen on any of the relevant sounds

Nevermind it would appear all this is somehow the fault of my Allen & Heath 10fx mixer, thanks anyway

Yeah, first off i tried the headphones straight into MPC's headphone input no prob.. then the headphones into the left/right of the main output, still no prob, did back and forth A and B checks with the mixer.
Then by process of elimination on my mixer this problem seems to ONLY happen when im monitoring through an aux mix, which is confusing in itself but yeah...

Also found a problem where a slight amount of sound is bleeding too both the mainmix/aux mix, even when the respective nobs are at null (so long as gain stage nobs are set), and further astoundingly when both the monitor master and headphone master nobs are also at null.

Not seeing how that is going to affect the sound every 8 pad presses.

Hi guys,
I've got a problem with my mpc. After half an hour/an hour that mpc is on, when i play the pad i hear a noise/rustle. A guy that had a similar problem said me that he changed a condenser and he solved the problem. The problem is that i don't know what condenser i should change.I hope that this is a typical problem of the mpc and someone could help me..
