Help with Installing an Internal Floppy Disk Drive on an mpc

I need help installing a floppy disk drive on my mpc2xl. I know its not a very practical thing to do but I want to do it for the sake of learning. I want to use a floppy drive because I have a few floppys lying around and I want to put them to use. I've been searching around but all I can find are instructions on how to install zip drives. If anyone has experience with installing floppy drives please help me out.

What does it have in it at the moment?

Not much to it, plug in power from power connector on MPC mainboard to floppy drive, plug in floppy cable from floppy connector on MPC mainboard to floppy drive (the correct way around with both cables).

It might depend on what sort of internal drive power connector you have in it at the moment, whether that needs to be modified/adapted to a floppy power connector.

I previously had an internal zip drive installed but it isn't lighting up anymore
