Anybody know any workarounds for a MPC2000 issue....?

What up board. Peace. Pulled out the 2000 again and noticed the few lines that were in the screen have now increased. Bc I know the 2k functions its still doable compared to some ive seen but its bad though. I was wondering if anyone knew any solid workarounds or tricks to kinda decrease the lines or slow down the increase of them. Got it in 2007 used but in decent condition and it has carried me all the way thru 2014 i just recently started getting lines period like last year. So I think thats straight considering its been used and the wear and tear i put on it. But ive checked mpcstuff faithfully to no avail on the release of the new screens and I have no clue where to find even a used one. Also if anyone know another place to get screens let me know. All help appreciated. One

AFAIK nothing new on this topic. You'll have to buy antother 2000 or a dsp12 with working display.

The workaround is to wean yourself off the 2k and move to another MPC.
It's sad but the real solution.

As mentioned you could find a DSP12 but you have to invert that cable and it's no fun.
You can easily damaged the display trying to do it.

I don't recommend it to people since it extremely skill dependent and most people are dangerous with a soldering iron.

Actually own a Renaissance 4 months now. Just pulled out the 2k and vs880 for some classic fun. And i feel ya i dont go anywhere near a solder iron not my field of expertise lol
