Tactile switches for 2000xl

Hello everyone,

I am going to put new tact switches on my 2000xl and I want to make sure I get the correct ones for cheap. Please if anyone knows where I can get a lot of them for cheap leave me a link!

@Pilchard I notice you linked the SKHHALA010 instead of SKHHAMA010

Just wondering if this was an oversight on your part or have you had better results with the SKHHALA010?

yeah I think you are right. The 5mm ones match the original spec.

Sites like mpc-hunter list SKHHAMA010 as the tact switch to use but some users on here have mentioned using the SKHHALA010

After testing the SKHHALA010, I hate it. The push down force is noticeably harder than the original issue tact switches on the 2000/XL. It's also much more clicky and loud - if anyone is reading this and into that, fine get the SKHHAMA010 then.

According to the pdf, the SKHHALA010 requires 50% less force needed to push down the tact and I imagine it would be the same as the original tact buttons we're used to. I'm going to order those as well as the OMRON B3F-1020 and see what feels more comfortable for me to use.

I tried the SKHHAMA010 not the SKHHALA010. The SKHHAMA010 is the one with much harder to press buttons.

do you happen to also have any info on the fader in the mpc 2000xl? could it be compatible with the one in the mpd32?
