mpc2000xl / mpd 32 fader

i got a mpc2000xl with a busted fader.
i also have the mpd 32 wich is now lying around since i don`t use it much anymore.
i never used the faders inside, 2 of them were broken for the start and i never cared, i guess i couldn`t care less if one more was missing (f you mpd with your shitty pads)

now my question:

i see that on mpcstuff they have a 15$ mpc/mpd fader. are the faders the same in the mpd as they are in the mpc? because i could really use one of the faders i don`t use in my mpd instead of paying a shipping bigger than that fader

obvious solution is to crack them both open and see for yourself.
