my MPC's lcd screen has lost many of it's lines of pixels making it basically illegible. is this the kind of thing that i could buy the replacement part and swap it out, or will i have to put it in the shop.
if it is user serviceable, where could i go about finding that part.

i don't think it's screen burn so much as dead pixels. it's like half the rows and half the columns are just dead.
is it the same lcd component as the xl?
