vocoding on mpc 2000/XL?

Hi

Every now and then I've been trying to tweak the effects on the EB-16 to see if I can make vocal samples vocoded. Has anyone been successful in this yet? I'm avoiding using both keyboards and computer programs altogether and keep it straight 2000XL!

maybe get a chaos pad 2 or higher to get a small hardware piece that has that.
