MPC 2000 freezing/crashing

I bought my MPC 2000 recently off gumtree from a guy in london and as i was staying in london at the time i made a coupla beats there and all was good+working fine. when i travelled on the train home i carried the mpc in a bag with no extra padding. since it's been back at my home it freezes almost every time i use it. it doesn't freeze instantly after turning on - usually it happens after about 10 mins into using it but it's always pretty random. it often happens whilst i'm adjusting a parameter. as i said there doesn't really seem to be any pattern to the crashes as they always happen at random times, but it could be something i knocked when travelling home with it, as it only started crashing after that. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and/or would know of any solutions.

I bet the RAM came loose. You need to open the unit and reseat the RAM. Also reseat the ribbon cables. The control board cable could've got loose as well.
