Play X

When sampling on my 2kXL I can't hear the sample play back when I hit Play X. I have the 8 outputs all connected to my desk, and the stereo outs aren't connected. Am I right in presuming that Play X only plays through the main stereo outs? Is there any way to assign play X to play through one of the 8 outs?

While you're sampling or editing, you can only hear it through the main outs because your sample hasn't been assigned to a program (assigned to a pad). Use your main outs.
