SP404sx to MPC 2KXL SE3

I just purchased a 2KXL SE3 and I want to use my SP404sx as a mid point from turntable to 2KXL (for effects purposes while sampling). Is this a good route to go in?? This is my first MPC and I want to make sure all will run smoothly. Any advice or opinions are appreciated. Thank you all.

im sure itll run smooth as its supposed to. as for it being a good route i dont think im in the position to say anything, or anyone at the matter. its all up to you and what you want to make

It would be an extra clowning setup if your 2kxl has an mcd reader in it, since the 404sx can read and write normal wav files, you could shuttle samples between the machines without having to resample. Pitch on the mpc, effects on the 404sx.

Thanks for the responses. What I am shooting for is to use the SP404sx to compensate for the effects the 2kxl does not have. Eventually use it for live performance with the beats made on the 2kxl with out have to always have to take the 2kxl everywhere. Thanks again for the responses. Anyone else have anything to add?
