I want to copy my whole kick pattern and load the same pattern into the SUB pad so that I get kick and sub going at the same time. Is there a way to copy pattern into a new pad? I now you can just do the multi sound thin in parms but thats another thing. Tell me this is possible because Im goin crazy tryin to figure out how to do it..

One way is to press F2 (EDIT) then in the left window make sure you have selected the track with the kick in it & have selected the whole length of the bar.
In the right window select an empty track to copy into, make sure it is starting at 001.01.00, & ........ DO IT.

Then press F4 (TRANSpose). Select the track you copied your kick pattern to & scroll the transpose amount to the pad your sub sound is on & FIX.

I say one way because I think there might be another, but this is how I do it.

just go thru in step edit, shift the notes of the copied kicks to the sub bass sound. not as easy... but it will be done.

Do the SIMULtaneous thing in PARAMS and you can set the kick and sub to hit at the same time on the same track. That's the easiest way IMO. Sometimes I use seperate tracks to accomplish this and sometimes I use this method I jsut stated.

No, I've got the older 2000. I thought it would be the same.

Yes you are right.....after you have copied the track of kicks to another track you do need to press F2 again to get back into EDIT, then do your TRANSpose. I'm presuming you did get the copying bit worked out.
