Record In Issue

What's up everybody!

I'm trying to get this sample into the mpc from a turntable. I'm going turntable>mixer>mpc. The mpc 2000xl is not reading any signal. The mixer is picking up the signal though. Is it possible the record in ports are no good? Or maybe a bad rca cable from mixer to mpc?

I'm not sure how new you are to the MPC. But is it possible you weren't in Sample mode? If that's not the issue, maybe there is something wrong with the cables.

Haha I'm not new man I just never came across this problem. I picked this 2kxl up at a pawn shop so I'm trying to bring it back to life. But yeah I'm not getting no signal in sample mode
