MPC freezes when PolyEvolver is turned off

Every time I turn my DSI PolyEvolver off, my MPC2000XL freezes.

I believe it has something to do with MIDI. If I unplug the MIDI OUT on the PEK (or the MIDI IN on the MPC) it doesn't happen. It's like the PEK is sending some weird MIDI signal of death.

I used to have MIDI feedback loops between the PEK and an MPC1000 also, so probably the MIDI implementation on the PEK is just weird.

Anywyas, if you have any idea I would be very thankful!!

Oh thats from the Mono Evolver manual, great. i'll check it out

Just for the record..

Changing those settings helps, but then no midi signal from the knobs is sent, so whenever I want to record I have to switch back to the default config.
