Hello everyone,
so I've had my mpc2000xl for a little under a month now, read the manual front to back every single day but there are things that I still can't figure out. I will try to explain my current situation: I have my 8 bar drum loop and have my sample sequence that fits well through out the drum loop except for one major problem; I cant get the very first sample(that fits well shortly after a certain drum beat) to match the very beginning of the sequence. I have my chorus loop done and if I try to start it off in the middle of the seq2 it does not match when I play from chorus to seq2. I have tried overdub, record the sample from when it starts to match (leaves me with a pause in the beginning). I spent an hour on this an now I am freaking frustrated. I know there is a way to do this. Please help!!! I hope you folk understand my issue. BTW, If I start to play the sample a second before 4 click intro when recording it matches perfectly but when it reaches the end it has a sample jump that jumbles up the whole sequence. Hope you guys understand what I am trying to say.
