Using the fader/ after touch on the 2000 classic

Hey I picked up a 2k classic 2 weeks ago. I really love it. One thing I can't really figure out from the manual or find online is how the slider or fader thing works. I hit shift and realized you can control parameters of a sample like pitch or filter but it only does it on one at a time . The thing I find inconvenient about that is if I use it to pitch a sample and then wanna pitch another at the same pitch its nearly impossible. So is there any way of selecting multiple pads/samples and unanimously tuning them together?

By the way I know how to edit the pitch of every pad without the slider it just would save time if I could group them or something

As far as I know you can bulk change anything, and I think that's the biggest con with Classic/2KXL is that there's no grouping options for anything. (I could be wrong though?)

yeah that is the issue with that built in thing.. the way you really would need to do it would be via 8 outs.. send each sound to it's own out.. and for example, akai in the old days had a rack mount filter module that had i think 6 filters in it with midi that you could independently run 6 different things into .. so essentially you could do midi back and forth i would imagine and record (automate) the filter sweeps and have that recorded in the mpc's midi sequencer as well. I forget the model number of that filter though, but it was a 1U unit grey like most of their gear from back then.

i believe if you use the fader while you play the notes, it will record it. i am not sure if it records just the note variation data after-the-fact though.
