Should the ribbon for the pad sensor lock in snug or tight. Reason I ask is because I lock mine in properly and its loose and can easily pull out. I've tried a few times and does the same.

Man I've probably tried a dozen times with my toe nails clipped. One eye closed. Blind folded. Drunk. Naked. Still not snug or tight. Problem is none of my pads are working. I'm not technically challenged at all. Alittle retarded. But not electronically stupid

The pads eventually go bad. Keep in mind that a bad pad is bad across Banks A, B, C, & D on the pad sheet.
IMO.. the MPC Stuff pad sheet is well worth it if you need a replacement.

A lot of times it may look like the sensor strip is imserted properly in the slot. But it's not in there correctly. I've had the same problem with my MPC2000. Straighten the end of it carefully without bending it and try again. It's a ****. But when it's seated properly, you'll know.

You don't want to cut it flush. you want a little slack/bend on it.
