Morning everyone,
The data wheel on my MPC 2000 Classic is getting seriously wonky. I've done some looking at fixes and it seems like an encoder needs to be replaced.
Does anyone have any experience in doing this on the classic (not XL)
It looks like the encoder for the classic looks much different than the one for the XL. Is this the case?
Is the repair still doable with minimal soldering skills?
Do you know anyone who services the mpc200 that is reliable and affordable and accepts shipment of the machine?
Any help or insight and instructions would be very appreciated. I see a minimal amount on the web about fixing the XL but basically nothing about the classic.
Thanks!
