SD Card problems

I'm having trouble with loading samples of my SD card? Anybody have an opinion on that?

I store some samples on the card from my mac, but when i try to load them on my 2000xl, the screen just freezes?

I've had a lot of trouble saving my tracks on the card as well. After a certain time, it won't let me make a new folder or even save the .ALS and .ALP files at all. I've lost a lot of good jams this way...

Anybody have an idea what the problem could be?

i've always had a problem using sd cards with macs - the mac os puts some garbage files on the card that confuses the mpc.

there is a program called cleanupsmbmess that some people use, i have not had much luck with it. i usually just put my card into a windows machine, remove the mac files, and then it is ok.

I use this app religiously to get the hidden Mac files off of removable drives for my samplers. I've used this since OS Snow Leopard to now with Yosemite.
Download the app, put it on your desktop and drag the removable drive onto the app icon and it will give you options to clean it.

That turned out great! Haven't had any problems with it since i used the cleansmb app! Thanks guys
