Pads are not working

hi everybody

I have a 2kxl for 2 years now, and it's been a month that pads 2, 13, 14, 15, 16 are not responding.

Does that means I have to buy some new pad sensors? or just buy new pads (like mpcstuff's thick fat pads) ?

Maybe i should just open the mpc to check if everything is right in place but to be honest i'm not really comfortable with that.

i bought a 2kxl not too long ago. the seller said that pads 1-4 didn't work.so i opened it up >took out the ribbon> and put it back in. all of them work perfectly now.

Thanks Samplehouston, I'll try that then. Was opening the box a hard manipulation?
