Not getting stereo input when sampling from turntable

ive wired my deck into my mixer, mixer master into the mpc and from the mpc into my soundcard, but when i play the deck and try to sample in, im only getting a right hand reading, no left channel, im on stereo mode on the mpc but not getting it.
Am i doing something wrong?

Check the cable from the mixer and also check if any channels on the mixer are panned to the left. If it's not the mixer, it could be the turntable wires going into the mixer. So go through the process of elimination and you'll probably figure it out from there.
