Hey,

I got my MPC a day ago and finally got some wires to get it going. I have an Allen and Heath XONE DX mixer, which has XLR, 4 soundcard outs (master, booth, aux, cue), 4 soundcard outs (deck1-4, some with phono switches). I had an MPC 1000 years ago using this but it doesn't seem to be the same as I remember.

I have my speakers connected via XLR main outputs on the Xone, so the turntable comes through them. However I do want to be able to sample into the MPC obviously, so I could use some help!

I connected my MPC to with 1/4 jack to RCA from the jack stereo outs to a soundcard in deck rca. Then I connected another pair of 1/4 inch jacks to the MPC record in slots, to the Xone soundcard out master rcas, as I want to be able to control the mix of the turntable via my Xone DX, and not put it straight to MPC as I don't have the rca to jack adapters or want to do so.

Yet there is no sound from the MPC except static, even using headphones. I had the settings on (shift/4) sample mode set to (analog/stereo/L/R) it does show bars (with record/master RCA's) but that may be static related feedback, I'm not sure.

So if I could get some help being able to sample into the MPC with my Xone DX, or any ideas on how to sort it I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

If anyone has any ideas as to what I should be doing or not doing that'd be awesome. I really don't want to go straight into the MPC with the turntable, I could really use that extra control on the mixer.
