Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Assuming you ran the installer, can you check if /Users/<yourusername>/vMPC/Stores/MPC2000XL exists? Does your user have write permission for this directory?

I ran the installer and that vMPC folder is there along with it's subfolders. I've used BatchMod to check/give permissions, all good, but app still crashes on launch.

Debug version launches good, no crashes. Test project loads and plays fine. Mixer screen is messed up while playing, some other screens too. Randomly will shift+6 or shift+1 crash. Cannot find that vmpc.log, there is nothing in vMPC/temp/ or elsewhere... Tell me where to look for logs and I'll post it

Messed up screens while playing should be fixed in both of these:

http://vmpc.kernelbug.org/vMPC-installer.pkg (this one should now also save your audio config)
http://vmpc.kernelbug.org/vMPC-installer-debug.pkg

I have installed this new vMPC-installer.pkg and now it launches fine

Fixed issues in the direct-to-disk writer. You can now bounce your beats straight to .wav. Also fixed offline bouncing, so you can render a beat of a couple of minutes in just a few seconds.
