Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
I have this mpc 2000 xl bought it from a friend I i updated my system to 1.20 with the floppy and now I bought an adapter for it but I can't find anywhere to set the mpc to read the ide/Atapi adapter please let me know what to do I tried uploading pics but am not sure how to thank you for any help

Before Proceeding to Use a Floppy Disk
Do NOT press the disk eject button when you are using a floppy disk and the light of the disk drive
on the front panel of the MPC2000XL is on. The data or disk may be damaged or destroyed.
SETTING UP the Primary Device
This sets up the primary device the MPC2000XL searches the file to load automatically when it is
turned on. You can also select the type of file to be loaded.
1 Hold down SHIFT and press LOAD (3 on the numeric kaypad) followed by SETUP [F4].
The following SETUP screen will appear.
LOAD SAVE FORMAT SETUP
Primary device:FLOPPY
Auto loding file type:APS+ALL
2 Select the primary device in the Primary device:field.
This selects the device that becomes active when the MPC2000XL is turned on. The
avaiable options are, FLOPPY, SCSI-O ~ SCSI-7, and F-ROM.
3 Move the cursor to the Auto loading file type: field and select the type of
file you want to load.
This selects the type of file that is automatically loaded from the device selected above
when the MPC2000XL is turned on.
The available options are, APS+ALL, ALL, APS, and OFF (refer to the subsequent
explanation of file types). The MPC2000XL will load the first APS and/or ALL file found
automatically.
