Im reading all these forums and i have no idea what is being said really. im looking into copping a 2kxl and am i seeign that cf readers work with them? and also im seeing there is problems putting zip disk files from the mpc to the comp what are those and hwo easy is that to do?

I would like to help, but be a little more clear on what you want. Are you trying to compare the different options??? etc, also my ZIP works fine, but backup. And if you are running XP, (NTFC) setup a fat partition on your HD or get a second HD for the MPC (fat formatted) and you can swap without issues.

yeah lik transfering zip disk files form the computer to the 2kxl and vice versa. i also heard soemthign about scsi compact flash drives do you know anyhting about them or if they work with the 2kxl.

yeah scsi compact flash readers do work with the mpc, I just picked one up and its great. I have a pcd-15 compact flash reader. I got it on ebay for 10 bucks.
