I don't think anyone has it!!!! I've never heard of people on this forum using it. SMPTE is an old syncing code system developed for the movie industry but I think it might not even be used much by them anymore.

Do you use SMPTE for anything?

SPMTE is exactly like MTC, but is in a analog format for syncing (like multi-track tape recorders). Any internet search will turn up lots of info on SMPTE.

I have used mine quite a bit on systems that do no have MTC.
