Who told you we don't care? Where is he, I'll kill em.. haha

Keep both for a while and see which one fits your style of production and everything, then make a choice from there homie. Don't be in a rush.

The se3 is a clean machine. I got the se2 (I'm addicted to bright colors)

word... good lookin out lampdog. choices, choices, choices. i DO love the mpc series.. i really want em all.

1000: i like the size, portability, usb, compact flash cards, mpc pad 187 program creator.

i don't like the color, timing is a little off

2000xl:i like the sound, the timing, the feel of the pads, the color of the machine(i have the se3), more outs

i don't like floppy or zip drives(it is so 80's)

but i guess i'mma have to stick with the 2000xl FOR NOW. i can easily get another 1000 in the future. not so easliy said and done with the 2000xl ( i heard their discontinued) especially the se3!

lol... no thanks i think i'll pass

more things i wanna add to my lists:

mpc 1000 likes: more filters, comes with band pass and high pass not just low pass, effects come standard, outputs standard too, pretty much out the box its a killer

mpc 1000 dislikes: attack/decay adjustments not made in screen, gotta do it by ear,

mpc 2000xl likes: bigger pads, better overall feel, reputation considered a production studio standard, data wheel turns information faster, functions are easier to execute, midi configurations easier

mpc 2000xl dislikes: old school pc terminologies, atapi? floppy drives? zip drives? scsi? ak.sys? who's heard of this crap? loading times, have to buy a lot of hop ups to get it up to par (memory, 8 outs, effects card, zip drive)
